Automatic, can feel switch gears after runs for about 30=45 mins. Just had oil change and fluids topped off?

My car runs fine for a little while,then when I put my foot on the gas pedal, I can feel the car jerk into gear. The first time this happened, two days ago, the service engine soon light came on. It has since gone off, but will continue to act like that after driving for about 30-45 minutes. What could be doing this, something as simple as a fuel filter or something in the transmission?Automatic, can feel switch gears after runs for about 30=45 mins. You need to check your trans fluid. If the check engine light came on then a code is stored, you need to get it checked before you do some major damage.
