Manual gear box oil level?

How do I change the gearbox oil to my 2wd 4cyl 1991 Toyota Pickup? Can I simply add oil to make it full, or do I have to change it?

How do I go about finding where to put the oil in?Manual gear box oil level?
hi, there is a plug/bolt underneath the gearbox somewhere in the middle. this is your drain plug. to add gear oil, there is a bolt same area only on the side of the gearbox. this is where you add the oil. its full when oil starts to drip out from it.Manual gear box oil level?
Climb under the truck you will see a drain plug on the side of the trans. When you remove it do it slowly if it starts to come out its full, No need to change it just keep it full with 90 weight gear oil good luck
the trans has a drain plug on the bottom and a fill plug on the side u need a allen wrench to get them out and you can just fill it up.when it starts to run out of fill hole its full make sure u use the right gear oil for your trans.
just make sure its full and you dont need to change it
always take the fill plug off first. this will allow the fluid to drain faster, plus if you drain fluid and cant get the fill plug open then you have no way to add. the total capacity isnt that large so you can definately change it out for not much money. also consider using a higher quality fluid like Amsoil.
