i'm sorry but most of your questions are not very easy to understand. in order to answer your rear end ( differential ) question. i/we need a to know a few things first. is it a v8 or v6 engine, what model monte carlo, and production date. or you could maybe call your gm dealer with your VIN# and they might be able to answer your question as well. you'll have to be a little more clear on the rest of your question.
