if its got air in the lines it will cause it to force fluid out through the seals,try bleeding the air off the system and see if the leak stops they usually will ,unless you had a leak in the gear box to start with it should stop leaking once all the air is bleed from it,i have had this happen a lot good luckReplaced pwr steering pump in 01 dodge 2500 now its leaking oil from back of gear box any ideas?

Blown seal, needs rebuilt/replacement.
check back of gearbox housing to make sure it did not crack.
